Overview

What Is an Australia Dedicated Server?

An Australia Dedicated Server is a full physical machine in our Australia datacenter, reserved entirely for you. There is no hypervisor and no other tenant sharing the hardware — the CPU, RAM, storage and network port are yours alone, with your choice of Linux or Windows at order.

Because the whole box is dedicated to one customer, performance does not depend on what other accounts on the same host are doing. Every plan includes a dedicated IPv4 address plus a /64 IPv6 allocation and full administrator access over the physical hardware.

Three plans span a single-socket Intel Xeon E3-1230 v6 up to a dual-socket Intel Xeon E5-2620 v3 with 128GB RAM. This sits alongside our Australia Residential RDP line — that line is a virtualized RDP session on a residential IP, not a full physical server like this one.

Know the difference

Australia Dedicated Servers vs. Australia Residential RDP — which one do you need?

This page: Australia Dedicated Servers

A full physical dedicated server in Australia, three plans from $54.99/mo to $88.99/mo. Pick this if you need the whole machine to yourself — no hypervisor, no shared tenants — with full administrator access and your choice of OS.

Australia Residential RDP

A Remote Desktop session on a residential IP, also targeting Australia and Oceania users, four plans from $44.99/mo to $100.99/mo. Pick this for a lower entry price and a residential-IP session rather than dedicated hardware. See the Australia Residential RDP plans.

Solved for you

Problems Our Australia Dedicated Servers Solve

Noisy Neighbors on Shared Hardware

Problem: A shared VPS or RDP session still splits CPU, RAM and disk I/O with other tenants on the same host.

Solution: Every Australia Dedicated Server plan is a full physical machine — no hypervisor, no other tenants, no noisy-neighbor slowdowns.

Restricted Low-Level Control

Problem: Managed VPS and RDP platforms often limit what you can configure at the hardware or OS level.

Solution: A dedicated server is yours alone, with Linux or Windows installed to order, so you control the environment down to the hardware.

Sustained Workloads Get Throttled

Problem: Virtualized servers can throttle or degrade under long, CPU-heavy workloads.

Solution: Three Intel Xeon tiers, from single-socket up to a dual-socket 128GB configuration, sized for consistent, sustained workloads.

Use Cases

Popular Uses for Australia Dedicated Servers

Low-Latency Hosting for Australia & Oceania

Host from an Australia server for shorter round trips to Australian and Oceania-facing users and services.

High-Traffic Sites & Applications

Run demanding sites or apps on dedicated Xeon cores and disk I/O, without sharing resources with other tenants.

Large-Memory Workloads

The 128GB dual-socket tier suits memory-heavy workloads like caching layers, in-memory databases, or virtualization hosts.

Database & Backend Workloads

Run database servers or backend services that benefit from dedicated, uncontended CPU and I/O.

Software Development & Testing

Build, test, and debug in an isolated environment with full control over the OS and installed stack.

Network & Security Testing

Use a dedicated box with its own IP address for network, security, or infrastructure testing that needs isolation from shared hosts.
